Pietro Cavassa

Pietro Cavassa aka Anything Pointless is an electronic musician, producer and mix engineer based in London. 

He currently works as part of the Hackney Road Studios’s team, under the mentorship of Grammy nominated mixing engineer Mikko Gordon (Radiohead, Idles, The Smile), Sean Woodlock (Valentina Magaletti, Moin, Holy Tongue) and Shuta Shinoda (GhostPoet, Hot Chip, Daughter). His assisting credits include artists such as Loyle Carner, Olivia Dean, and Beth Orton.

Recent mixing projects feature artists like Ginevra (Asian Fake/Sony Music), Giungla (Factory Flaws), and Bruno Heinen.

In 2023, Pietro composed the original soundtrack for the film “About Last Year” which was nominated for the Venice Film Festival and also released his debut album “Shape Time Divide” (Salmon Universe).

Anything Pointless role is to enhance the artist's vision through creative exploration, guided by an instinctive approach to shaping sounds. His goal is to create music that resonates with and impacts people's feelings and emotions.
